About
Dear Colleague:
You asked. We listened. I could not be more excited to invite you to join us for the AACC’s 2014 International Marriage & Family Summit in beautiful, sunny San Diego! Based on your feedback, our team has redesigned our “Conference Experience” with flexibility and learning opportunities like never before!
More than just your average academic conference, this event will feature our brand-new Specialization Counselor Training and Coaching Intensives with engaging keynote addresses from world leaders, powerful praise and worship, cutting-edge professional workshops, fellowship, and networking. Tailor the 2014 International Marriage and Family Summit to meet your personal and professional needs!
Conference Option 1: Specialization Counselor Training and Coaching Intensives
New! Want more advanced training? Drawing on the latest research, each intensive will feature 12 full hours of in-depth training throughout the conference from national experts—all in an interactive, experiential format. Connect with colleagues… learn and grow together… and best of all, walk away with a Professional Certificate of Completion that will better equip you to provide competent counsel and care. These intensives will run from Thursday morning through Saturday afternoon, breaking for plenary sessions.
Conference Option 2: Pre-conference and Conference Workshops
Pick and choose. Create your own conference schedule and make sure to come early for our full or half-day pre-conference workshops. Choose from six diverse professional conference tracks, including Abuse, Trauma and Pathology in Families; Child and Adolescent Disorders; Parenting and Family Dynamics; Love, Dating, Cohabitation and Pre-marital Counseling; Marital Recovery and Counseling Interventions… and much more!
Whether it’s attending an intensive or creating your own conference schedule, we promise you won’t be disappointed.
In today’s post-modern world, traditional marriages and families are being redefined and increasingly coming under attack. Join counselors, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, pastors, ministry leaders, and coaches from around the world to make a difference!
We believe this is more than a conference—it’s a growing movement to restore these foundational pillars of society. Our mission is uncompromising:
To educate, empower and equip today’s Christian counselors, leaders, churches and parachurch organizations by creating a reservoir of knowledge,
resources, support and networking opportunities for marriage and family issues.
My prayer is that you will join us in impacting today’s marriages and families by marking your calendar now for San Diego. See you there!
Doing Life Together,
Tim Clinton, Ed.D.
